Some things that bother me...

1st off I would like to say that God is amazing........

This note is for anyone who truly wants to be better than this world, who truly wants to do good; not for their own pleasure, but for the glory of GOD.

What happened to decency?

Remember back when we were kids, so innocent and goofy.....what happened to the days where all we wanted was more recess and a snack pack for lunch? This topic has been coming up alot lately, whether its about movies or the way girls dress......WHAT HAPPENED TO DECENCY? Seriously, I am tired of seeing girls boobs in almost every movie, BE ORIGINAL. Is there any particular reason why the female body has been exploited literally BILLIONS of times? Women are a beautiful creation of GOD and should be respected, not exploited, not made to be a source of our own personal pleasure, and not looked at as objects. ALL women are gorgeous, because GOD says so.....My heart breaks when I see people making fun of someone who is "unattractive" according to the world's standards......WHAT HAPPENED TO GODS STANDARDS?! WHAT HAPPENED TO INNOCENCE AND DIGNITY!? If GOD says someone is beautiful, who am I to say otherwise? Women were not meant to have this image, this image of they are only here to be attractive and if they arent, then theyre useless.......women are EQUAL to men; yes we have different roles not only in marriage but in the church.....does that make men better? NO.......do something about it.....there is more to life than how we look.....

Love......?

What happened to Love? Why is this word tossed around so much in our society? "I love pancakes!".......no you dont, eat 30 more and you wont 'love' them.....why is it that the general outward expression of 'Love' is sex?.....i personally feel like a hug is the best thing I can give someone to show them love......hugs show vulnerability and are comforting if you actually trust the person.......so why is sex so important?.....sure it feels good, but its empty and it cant fill any holes in your heart.....LOVE is serious, love is a deep concern for someone, love is endless, love is (I Co. 13), love is amazing.....to genuwinly love someone and to feel loved is an amazing experience......guys, dont be idiots and say "I love you" just to get sex......girls dont believe guys when they say that unless you know their heart........We are called to love everyone as Christ loves them, and personally this is something that I struggle with......I want to look at someone and judge them by how they look; when I know in my heart that that is wrong, and God has been showing me that: "If God loves someone, who am I to not love them?".....oh and btw, GOD LOVES EVERYONE........be careful with love, dont mess around, because it is the most precious thing on earth........

RISK......

Why is it so hard to take risks for God? I mean, He is GOD.....He knows everything and He created everything........so why is it so hard?.....b/c we want control, and we think that we have power.......when in reality we have no idea whats going on, anything we think that we have....is GOD's......doing one thing that God asks us to do may seem like a leap of faith, but if God is with us then there is absolutely nothing to worry about.....our jump may seem like the grand canyon, but once we land it was only a foot or two.....everyone has seen little skits about a little kid not wanting to go down the slide......but once that kid does and sees that it is safe, he/she wants to do it again and again and again.....so why cant we be that way with God? once we see Him work in our lives by us doing one thing, why is it such a hassel to do it again when weve seen what happenes when God is with us already????
